Here it is, the new cover and title for the book formerly known as The Angel Alejandro.

“Dream Reaper is as lush and ethereal as it is visceral and unholy. A demonic horde seeks to swallow up the citizens of Prominence made vulnerable by their weaknesses. Those who take a stand against the evil are emotionally damaged as well; particularly a sheriff who battles his personal demons in a bottle. The author had me rooting for each of them in spite of, or maybe because of their flaws. With masterful pacing, Cross brings a small mystery to a raging boil that threatens every soul in Prominence. His exquisite prose drew me into the story as if I were living it. Highly recommended.” – QL Pearce, author of the Scary Stories for Sleep-Overs series, and Spine Chillers: Hair-Raising Tales

“Dream Reaper sets the bar high for urban fantasy; Alistair Cross brings thrills, chills, and otherworldly delights to every page. I’ve never read a novel like it – it delivers terrifying in-your-face horror even as the romance and humor melt your heart and make you laugh out loud. I came away from this book pumped full of adrenaline and deeply satisfied. An excellent read!” – Tamara Thorne, international bestselling author of Haunted and Candle Bay

” … This story caught me from the beginning and I could not put it down. It’s one thing to not remember your past, but when your past is filled with mysterious powers, it’s something else. The clash of good and evil, angels versus devils, it’s an amazing story that keeps you on the edge of your seat … it was magnificent! A definite must read.” – Amy’s Bookshelf

Angel or Demon?

Naive and heart-stoppingly handsome, he calls himself Alejandro, and Madison O’Riley has no clue what to do with him. As they set out to recover his lost identity, Madison realizes the mysterious man who saved her life harbors deep, otherworldly secrets that will put her in grave danger.

The Devil is in the Details

Gremory Jones has something for everyone, and for a price, he’s willing to make a deal. Walking the streets in top hat and trench coat, he tempts the citizens with mysterious wares from his shiny black briefcase. But buyer beware: All sales are final – and fatal.

A Scorching New Terror Has Come to Town

The townspeople are changing in appalling ways and it’s up to Madison – with the help of a psychic, a local priest, and the new chief of police – to help Alejandro unlock his forgotten powers before an unspeakable evil tears apart the fabric of existence … and costs them their very souls …

Ghostly footsteps down long darkened hallways? Check.

An unknown serial killer on the loose? Yep.

An egomaniacal writer? You got it.

An unusually macabre mortician? Of course.

A doctor slowly driven mad? Why not?

Mystery? More than you can shake a murder weapon at.

Unnatural use of household appliances? Naturally.

Profuse amounts of terror, sex, and bloodshed? Abso-freakin-lutely.

When the Blue Lady Walks…

Since 1887, Cliffhouse Lodge has been famous for its luxurious accommodations, fine dining… and its ghosts. Overlooking Blue Lady Lake, nestled among tall pines, Cliffhouse has just been renovated by its owners, Teddy and Adam Bellamy, and their daughter, Sara.

Cliffhouse has not always been a place of rest and respite, though. Over the years it has served many vices, from rum-running to prostitution – and although the cat house has been replaced by a miniature golf course and carousel, Cliffhouse retains its dark history; darkest during the Roaring Twenties, when a serial killer called the Bodice Ripper terrorized the town, and a phantom, the Blue Lady, was said to walk when murder was imminent

Death Walks With Her…

Now, there’s a new killer on the loose, and the Blue Lady sightings have returned. The Bellamys are losing maids, and guests are being tormented by disembodied whispers, wet phantom footprints, and the blood-chilling shrieks of mad laughter that echo through the halls of Cliffhouse in the dead of night.

The little mountain town of Cliffside is the perfect hunting ground for a serial killer… and the Blue Lady. Police Chief Jackson Ballou has bodies piling up, and between the murders and the mysteries, he can hardly pursue his romance with Polly Owen. And Sara Bellamy may lose her true love before they even have their first kiss.

A kick-ass Amazon review of Tamara Thorne’s MOONFALL:

moonfall-187

FOR HALLOWEEN FANS!

“This is one of my favorite horror stories of all time! I love a story that takes place in October round about the time of Halloween. While this is not a Halloween story per se, it is very much a theme to this novel. The author gives descriptions utilizing most all of the 5 senses and makes you feel like you are really there.

In a town where there is a carved jack-o-lantern on almost every front porch, I would love to live in Moonfall and attend the Halloween Haunt! The story is just creepy enough without being overburdened by unnecessary details. It just flows along, and takes the reader with it chapter by chapter. While obviously a work of fiction, deep in the autumn apple orchards and a gingerbread cottage inhabited by a real witch on the outside of town…you almost think “Well, it COULD have happened…”

I have an original paperback that has been read so many times the spine is cracking. I bought a newer paperback to replace to old one (while still keeping the old one tucked away on the bookshelf) and I purchased the Kindle version so I would never be without this haunting story. I love it! I always read it during October, and other times during the year whenever the “Halloween” mood strikes. Once I open the book, I’m there!”

In honor of the Halloween season, our real-life ghost-hunting adventure, FIVE NIGHTS IN A HAUNTED CABIN is on sale in eBook at Amazon for just $0.99

5Nights

In 2013, bestselling horror authors Tamara Thorne and Alistair Cross were working on their first collaborative novel and had yet to meet in person. That all changed when they got together to investigate an allegedly haunted cabin in California’s Gold Country.

The cabin’s owner and his family had fled the building on two occasions, beset by anomalies ranging from poltergeist phenomena to a darkly looming apparition. They wanted answers and were referred to author and long-time paranormal investigator Tamara Thorne. She and Alistair Cross decided that a few days and nights in a haunted cabin was the perfect setting for their first face-to-face meeting.

They ended up spending five nights documenting the phenomena inside – and outside – the little log cabin tucked deep in the woods. By turns intrigued and terrorized, Thorne & Cross not only came away with great story ideas, they left the cabin with a new definition of horror.

August 23rd – August 30th, SLEEP SAVANNAH SLEEP will be on sale in eBook for $0.99 at Amazon!

Savannah

The Dead Don’t Always Rest in Peace

Jason Crandall, recently widowed, is left to raise his young daughter and rebellious teenage son on his own – and the old Victorian in Shadow Springs seems like the perfect place for them to start over. But the cracks in Jason’s new world begin to show when he meets Savannah Sturgess, a beautiful socialite who has half the men in town dancing on tangled strings.

When she goes missing, secrets begin to surface, and Jason becomes ensnared in a dangerous web that leads to murder – and he becomes a likely suspect. But who has the answers that will prove his innocence? The jealous husband who’s hell-bent on destroying him? The local sheriff with an incriminating secret? The blind old woman in the house next door who seems to watch him from the windows? Or perhaps the answers lie in the haunting visions and dreams that have recently begun to consume him.

Or maybe, Savannah herself is trying to tell him that things aren’t always as they seem – and that sometimes, the dead don’t rest in peace.
